CC-JOBS INGO; established to support Educational Opportunities and Community Development in Rwanda. Our focus area is Gitega Sector of Nyarugenge District in Kigali, Rwanda (Central East Africa).

We offer interesting internships/research/volunteering programs for international students with all study backgrounds and various study years to support the implementation of our Youth Development Sponsorship Program (YDSP).

The vision of the organization is as following:

A prosperous community in which the youth have access to resources that will enable them to become self-sustainable and a major contributor to the development of their community.

As a Social Work intern, you will be at the heart of supporting and guiding the development of students in our Youth Development Sponsorship Program (YDSP). Working closely with the program team, you’ll build meaningful relationships with students, track their progress, and help design personalized development plans. This internship offers hands-on experience in social work while making a tangible difference in the lives of young people and their communities.

Possible assignments:

Possible Assignments:

1. Create Individualized Support Plans- Design tailored action plans for students to address their unique needs and goals.

2. Monitor and Document Progress- Keep detailed records of student achievements, challenges, and overall development.

3. Conduct Development Assessments- Regularly meet with students to assess their personal, academic, and social progress.

4. Facilitate Life Skills Workshops- Organize and lead workshops focused on topics like self-confidence, communication, and goal-setting.

5. Provide Emotional Support- Act as a trusted mentor, offering guidance and encouragement to students facing challenges.

6. Collaborate with Program Stakeholders- Work alongside teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

7. Conduct impact analyses for the Youth Development Sponsorship Program.

8. Conduct research for development of positive mindset and resilience building workshops.
