E-commerce Internship at Flamco B.V.

You will be working at Flamco’s brand new production site in Almere. Flamco is part of Aalberts N.V. and focuses on the development, production, and sale of high-quality components for heating, ventilation, drinking water, air conditioning, and general cooling for the installation industry.

The Flamco Group operates production facilities in four locations across Europe and China. With 60 years of experience and around 520 employees worldwide, Flamco is a top player in its field, successfully bringing innovative products to market in over 70 countries.

What will you do?

As an intern in the E-commerce department at Flamco, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within various aspects. You will perform operational activities and support new business development. You will participate in different projects and tasks, building a broad knowledge and experience within E-commerce, Marketplace, and Supply Chain.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1.     Marketplaces:

• Assist in creating, optimizing, and updating product descriptions, images, and specifications for various online marketplaces.
• Analyze competition and market trends to improve content strategies and increase product visibility.

2.     Process Optimization:

• Assist in monitoring and improving operational processes within the marketplaces, such as inventory management, order processing, and customer service.
• Implement workflow improvements to increase process efficiency and accuracy.

3.     Supply Chain:

• Support in coordinating logistics processes, including managing inventory levels, tracking shipments, and resolving delivery issues.
• Work with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure products are delivered to customers in a timely and accurate manner.

Desired skills:

• You have a higher professional education. (HBO level of thinking and working.)
• Studying a relevant course, preferably E-commerce or similar.
• You possess commercial knowledge and insight.
• You are experienced with Office and have an affinity for Digital/E-commerce.
• Good communication and writing skills in English. Dutch is an asset.
